In 2014 a brand new privately owned airline will take to the skies over Asia and the Middle East. Fly Arabian Air will start operations with a fleet of 14 Boeings and plans to operate routes between a number of Asian cities and holy Islamic Middle Eastern locations, including Medina and Jeddah; a knowledgeable and sensitive approach to the specific needs of pilgrims is core to the company’s strategy. Longer term plans include expansion to similar locations in Europe and Africa, together with an International Cargo operation.
AMS is delighted to have been involved with Fly Arabian’s graphic design requirements from very early days; originally asked to create a logo design, we have since developed the plane wrap and a comprehensive range of stationery items.
The logo design is, we believe, an excellent example of its genre; bold, assertive colors, for great stand-out; the confident forward-looking style of the arrow motif with its clever 3D effect; a clear, slightly Arabic-looking font, easily recognized even at a distance. These all combine to convey a strong, fresh and optimistic brand image.
The colors and the style of the arrowhead are reproduced in the sand dune-like wave pattern on the plane wrap to provide image consistency and great visual prominence.
Fly Arabian Air are extremely happy with the work AMS have undertaken on its behalf, and we are currently designing and developing a new website for the company as well as creating logo and brand imagery for the International Cargo operation.
