Description: The company currently operates two high-end resorts, one on Phuket, one just north of the island. Its aim is to establish Maikhao Dream as a prestigious, interna-tionally-recognized hotel brand.

To reflect and enhance its upmarket posi-tioning, the company briefed AMS to up-date its existing logo. We wanted to “evolve” rather than “re-create” the brand and we achieved this through creating an “M” symbol that contains the wave and palm leaf that were key elements in the previous logo, using darker colors for a classier look, and simplifying the typeface to make it easier to read.
