This demonstrates, to our mind, both consistently high quality work and an ability to build long-term client relationships. Often this involves “going that extra mile”, stepping outside our traditional role as a graphic designer and providing assistance in other spheres of activity, both business and personal.
A couple of examples…
Three years ago we met with a Swedish entrepreneur who had a chilled snack product and a unique two-compartment pot… and nothing else other than his dreams. We invented a name, gave him a logo design, a packaging design, developed a website, produced social media advertising and a whole host of other “graphic design” tasks. In addition, though, we helped him through the whole marketing and selling process – writing emails and letters for trade customers, preparing a 5 year Business Plan for investment purposes, assisting with drafting a Board of Investment proposal. Now, the product has been successfully launched across Thailand and we are extremely proud of our contribution to this adventure.
On a slightly more light hearted note, a French client who runs, with his partner, a Samui holiday resort, has decided to settle full-time in Thailand, but not without bringing his cat. Unsure of the rules and regulations involved in bringing animals into the Kingdom he asked us for assistance. As well as being able able to seek out and provide him with the correct paperwork, we had several conversations and meetings with the relevant Thai departments and, ultimately, we were able to facilitate arrangements for the cats to gain their “Thai citizenship”!
We know that our success is totally dependent on the success of our clients and all our design efforts recognize this; if, though, we can assist in other ways, we are always available and will do whatever we can to help.
